In 2020, right after the onset of Covid, the Lord called my family to serve in the children’s ministry as the Pillar Pastors of that ministry. We never imagined this would be the area of ministry the Lord would assign us to oversee as the Pillars. Soon after, we had to transition to online classes because Covid was at its peak, and we moved to online church. During this time, we began to pray and fast. The Lord gave us the vision for an online school called Tiny Warriors, and we faithfully ran this program for several months.

By 2021, things still didn’t seem to be improving, so we continued to pray and fast, asking the Lord for direction through His Holy Spirit. By November of 2021, the Lord gave me a heavenly download—the blueprint for Shine Bright International. He revealed to us step-by-step how we were to conduct a Parents-Children conference. I was so excited to share this vision with the lead pastors, and to my surprise, the response was, “We need to send you to a place to get training for this.” They left it at that. I was disappointed, but I knew what God had said. I just needed to wait, trust, and believe.

In March of 2022, while serving in the children’s ministry, my pastor lady called me and said, “I’ve been hearing so many positive stories about Tiny Warriors. Whatever happened with the conference?” My response was brief, as I had never heard anything further from the pastor. But then she said, “I’ll talk to Pastor about it tonight and pray for a green light.” I remember that night when she texted me to say, “It’s a go!” I was overjoyed, but at the same time anxious, because now we had only a few months to plan and prepare for the conference.

With the amazing team the Lord provided, in just five months, we were able to accomplish everything! We held our first Shine Bright Conference in August of 2022, with more than 100 families in attendance. Since then, the Lord has brought every connection, resource, and piece into place to make this a thriving nonprofit organization. **Glory to God!**
